Thule RoundTrip Bike Duffel Bag Reviewed

Packing for a weekend away is a highlight at the end of a busy week especially when you’re packing for a weekend of biking. The Thule RoundTrip Bike Duffel Bag is the ultimate companion for the weekend warrior whose toy of choice includes two wheels.

My favourite part of this duffel is the organizational cell pockets where a perfectly rolled jersey can be easily stowed and easy to find. No more rummaging through your neatly folded clothes to find your favourite jersey because each organization cell pocket is visible as soon as you unzip the bag.

If somewhere along the year you lost the protective bag for your glasses, a dedicated glasses pocket is lined with a soft fabric to keep your lenses scratch-free. There is also a helmet-specific portion in the main pocket that keeps your helmet from receiving scratches during transit hanging off a strap.

Stinky riding shoes are away from your freshly watched jerseys and tucked into their shoe-specific pocket with a tarpaulin lining that is easy to wash.

At the end of your ride, the tarpaulin-lined pocket on the lid of the duffel is a great place to store wet socks and dirty jerseys.

Last but not least, the front organization pocket is a great place to store ride snacks & tools for easy access. This pocket makes it easier to find small items on the fly as opposed to searching in the main pocket. There is also a small wallet-sized pocket on the very front that’s an ideal spot to store ID or a small wallet with your important cards.

The 55L duffel is the ideal size for a weekend trip as it holds 3 to 5 days worth of riding clothes including jackets or riding pants for when the temperatures drop.

Pack it up, zip it and sling it over your shoulder, Thule’s RoundTrip Bike Duffel Bag lets you take your life with you on a riding weekend away.
