PSSST: you must be a curious, adventurous OR daring member to register

Presented by:

the north face outdoor

Oh oh! You had to take the trail on the left and you took the one on the right at the junction…you got lost while hiking! You are now much too far from your vehicle, night is falling and you then consider spending the night in the forest.
Are you ready?
This training aims to put you in a plausible context of survival in the forest. What should you do when you find yourself spending an unplanned night in the forest? How do you notify the emergency services? How do you avoid such a situation, and how do you deal with it if you find yourself in this predicament?
Accompanied by instructors, you will learn the necessary techniques and skills required to get through this stressful scenario. On top of this, you will learn the psychology behind the fear that creeps up during such a situation and how to better control it.
Challenges and a huge sense of accomplishment await you during this unique forest survival training. Renée-Claude Bastien is the guide who will oversee the entire training where you will have the chance to deepen your knowledge of survival in the forest. You will learn about:
  • Outdoor knots
  • The use of fabrics and different materials
  • Fires and the survival basics
  • Shelter construction

We keep a little mystery as to the exact plan for the weekend, but you will be taken care of from your arrival until your departure. A unique and very personal experience.

This training has become one of our favourites, will we see you there?
